Psychology Fees
The sessional fee for an individual psychological therapy session is $240 for a 50 minute session.
Note, the current recommended fee set by the Australian Psychological Society is $330.
Fees are payable at the end of the consultation.

Referrals
You do not need a referral to see a psychologist at Regain Psychology. However, a GP or Psychiatrist is required to prepare a Mental Health Care Plan to be eligible for a Medicare rebating under the Better Access to Mental Health program.
To see Sandra through Department of Veteran Affairs you will need a referral from your GP.
Medicare Rebates
Currently, under a Mental Health Care Plan, you can obtain up to ten Medicare rebated sessions per calendar year, the current rebate is $101.50.
Private Health Insurance
Regain Psychology is registered with most major health funds. With private health insurance, you may be eligible to claim partial costs of the consultation fee. Please check with your provider about the details of your cover, and if you are able to claim for psychology services.
Please note: You can only claim through Medicare or Private Health Insurance for each session.
Cancellation Policy
If you are unable attend your appointment, Regain Psychology requires 48-hours notice. This allows us adequate time to fill your appointment with a waitlisted client. Appointments that are cancelled or not attended within this time period will be charged a cancellation fee.
This cancellation charge will not be claimable through Medicare, or private health funds.
